Regional Functional Expert managing Supply Chain Finance and Fixed Assets within SAP. Drive improvements in financial systems and support cross-functional initiatives across regions.
Responsibilities
Support key users and assist Finance Shared Services stakeholders by troubleshooting complex techno-functional issues.
Contribute to the identification and definition of end-to-end SCF solutions in partnership with cross-functional teams.
Apply digital, bolt-on, and ERP-based solutions to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and user experience.
Drive and implement continuous improvement initiatives within the assigned functional area, delivering benefits to service center.
Monitor and analyze system performance in SCF and Fixed Assets modules, proposing enhancements where needed.
Ensure timely and accurate support to ERP governance and change management, including system/process impact assessments.
Support and execute testing for local and global system changes, proactively preventing issues and applying automation where relevant.
Represent the region in global forums to prioritize new developments together with other Regional Functional Experts.
Partner with business units and stakeholders to understand current and future technical requirements.
Serve as tier-2 support for end users by resolving queries escalated from Power/Key Users.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and financial policies in SAP system design and operation.
Maintain up-to-date functional documentation to support knowledge transfer and system sustainability.
Collaborate with IT and external partners to align functional specifications with technical development.
Support integration projects (e.g., acquisitions, factory expansions) by ensuring smooth financial system setup in SAP.
Act as a change ambassador, promoting adoption of new solutions and best practices among finance stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Finance, Accounting, or related field (required).
Demonstrated experience with Digital Transformation and Automation initiatives (required).
Minimum 5 years of experience in General Finance and Supply Chain Finance.
Strong working knowledge of SAP Supply Chain Finance and Product Costing, with proven experience in cross-functional business process change management.
Knowledge of business analysis and system/process integration.
Fluent in English (required).
Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese (advantageous).
