About the role

Responsibilities
- Implementing the physician’s prescription for treatment
- Assisting patients and families by being sensitive to the need for emotional support

Requirements
- A graduate of an approved twenty-four month curriculum based program in radiation therapy or an accredited bachelor level program in radiation therapy
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) as a radiation therapist or certification obtained within six months of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA)
