Responsibilities
Execute comprehensive end-to-end testing for 2-3 concurrent Salesforce projects.
Create and maintain detailed test cases and test scripts from business requirements and user stories.
Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and UAT testing across multiple Salesforce clouds.
Test Salesforce-specific configurations including flows, validation rules, Lightning components, permission sets, and custom objects.
Conduct risk-based testing to support rapid deployment cycles and tight release schedules.
Validate data migrations, integrations, and system configurations using SQL queries and data validation tools.
Track, document, and manage defects using Jira or similar tools with detailed reproduction steps.
Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and defect triage meetings.
Collaborate directly with developers to ensure quick issue resolution and quality gates are met.
Partner with business analysts to understand requirements and provide testing insights.
Support and facilitate UAT sessions with business users, gathering feedback and managing test cycles.
Execute basic test automation scripts as provided by Lead QA or automation team.
Contribute to test process improvements and adopt new testing tools as introduced.
Learn and leverage AI-enhanced testing tools to improve efficiency and coverage.
Maintain comprehensive test documentation and provide regular status updates to Lead QA.
Requirements
3-5 years of quality assurance experience with at least 2 years specifically in Salesforce testing.
Strong expertise in manual testing methodologies, test case design, and execution.
Hands-on experience testing Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Experience Cloud.
Functional understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, data model, and security model.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with sprint-based delivery.
Proficiency with test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar platforms.
Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation and communication skills.
Ability to effectively manage and context-switch between 2-3 concurrent projects.
Experience with defect tracking, root cause analysis, and test reporting.
Proven ability to work under supervision while maintaining high autonomy in execution.
Collaborative mindset with ability to work effectively with distributed teams.
Understanding of software development lifecycle and quality assurance best practices.
