About the role
- Public Relations Specialist enhancing PEAK's visibility in Canadian financial ecosystems. Leading initiatives in public relations, communications, branding, and event coordination.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a targeted PR strategy for Quebec and Canada
- Build strong relationships with journalists, columnists, influencers, and content creators
- Write press releases, speeches, bios, media kits, and position statements
- Prepare internal spokespeople for public appearances
- Measure results, optimize, and demonstrate campaign performance
- Deploy an omnichannel content strategy (newsletters, platforms, internal tools)
- Maintain a clear, dynamic editorial calendar
- Oversee content quality, relevance, and tone
- Support internal communications in collaboration with the HR team
- Optimize content for the web (SEO, accessibility, various formats)
- Ensure PEAK brand consistency across all touchpoints
- Create go-to-market materials for our solutions and services
- Ensure the brand experience reflects our values and ambitions
- Plan and coordinate events (media, partners, advisors)
- Develop innovative formats aligned with our positioning
- Evaluate event impact and recommend improvements
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in public relations, strategic communications, or media
- Excellent bilingual writer (French/English)
- Strong proficiency with tools such as Cision, Meltwater, and HubSpot
- Comfortable working in financial or economic environments
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or equivalent
- Established media network (strong asset)
