About the role
- Product Security Test Engineer leading cyber test events for space avionics systems. Collaborating with teams to develop tools, documents, and improve product security.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and development of cyber test events for space avionics systems
- Leverage software and/or systems engineering experience to build new testing tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on testing objectives and requirements
- Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, procedures, and reports
- Analyze test results and provide recommendations for product improvements and risk mitigation
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 3+ years of experience in penetration testing and/or systems testing
- 3+ years of experience within the aerospace or avionics industry
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in avionics (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in Network System Testing (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in Space Systems Testing and/or Spacecraft communication/navigation systems (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in Space Ground Systems (preferred)
- Experience in developing and executing test plans, procedures, and reports
- Experience with embedded systems
- Experience with automated testing tools and methodologies
