Responsibilities
Provides system support to departmental application users, troubleshoots system issues and generally ensures the assigned software is able to be used as intended.
This may include tasks such as creating functional documentation, reports, training materials and provide training to staff within their area of expertise.
Maintains optimal operation of departmental application in partnership with IT or external software vendor, as appropriate.
Provides support for application users. This would include troubleshooting for problem scenarios and escalation, as needed, to other internal or external resources to ensure successful resolution.
Builds, maintains and prepares documentation and training materials.
Performs some analysis of data and may create moderately complex reports.
Requirements
Must possess strong knowledge as normally obtained through the completion of a bachelor's degree in related business discipline to area assigned or computer science.
A level of experience as would typically be obtained in 1 to 2 years working with systems or as a functional "super-user" of an application in a similar department environment is required.
Strong working knowledge of typical word processing, spreadsheet and/or database applications is required.
Good organizational skills, as well as good oral and written communication and human relation skills are required.
