Responsibilities
Develop predictive models and statistical analyses to support strategic decision-making related to information security and fraud prevention.
Collaborate with data engineers and business analysts to structure data, validate hypotheses, and ensure model applicability.
Conduct exploratory analyses, formulate key questions, and present results clearly and accessibly.
Translate business rules into features and variables relevant for modeling.
Document deliverables and contribute to promoting a data-driven culture across the organization.
Participate in training and mentoring initiatives, supporting the technical development of other data scientists.
Requirements
Experience with Python for data analysis and building predictive models.
Knowledge of supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques.
Experience with data analysis tools such as Pandas, Scikit-learn and Jupyter.
Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working collaboratively with data engineers and business analysts.
Knowledge of information security or interest in working on fraud prevention.
Experience with platforms such as Databricks or cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Knowledge of MLOps and the predictive model lifecycle.
Familiarity with versioning and automation tools (e.g., Git, Airflow).
Participation in data communities or diversity initiatives in technology.
Experience with data visualization and analytical storytelling.
