About the role

• Mid Backend Developer implementing digital projects for Significa's clientele. Collaborating with Development Team for high-value web applications and features.

Responsibilities

• The Mid Backend developer is a position responsible for the implementation of digital projects for the companies’ clientele, in close collaboration with the other members of the Significa Team.
• Focus on the creation of high value web applications, addition of new features to existing projects and will be committed to implement solutions to meet challenging and advanced requirements.
• He / She work together with the other members of the Development Team and maintain an open communication with the Company’s Project Management, UX/UI and Customer Support Teams, to ensure high quality deliverables. Must be able to punctually deliver functional custom components and verify that the deliverables meet all technical requirements.
• He / She will report daily to the Team’s leader to ensure that delivery times and quality standards are always met.
• Responsibilities· Creation of high-performance websites and web applications.
• Development of integrations with external systems and web services.
• Addition of new features and components to existing client solutions.
• Delivery of updates and amendments to existing applications.
• Support/Debugging of existing applications.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent discipline
• Very good knowledge of English language, oral & written
• 3 to 5 years experience in an equivalent position
• Very good knowledge of C#, ASP.Net MVC and .Net Core
• Experience in at least one of the following CMS platforms — Umbraco, Sitecore, or Kentico — is required
• Working knowledge of HTML5
• Knowledge of Javascript is a plus
• Working knowledge of SQL (preferably the T-SQL flavour)
• Efficient use of Microsoft Visual Studio latest versions
• Experience in using Git source control system
• Ability to work in a containerized (Docker) development environment is a major plus
• Excellent grasp of web technologies (server/client, web services, SOA and orchestration, etc)
• Good knowledge of: SOLID principles / OWASP principles / CI/CD principles
