About the role

• Microsoft 365 Inhouse Consultant responsible for IT operations and cloud service integration in financial sector. Focused on M365 services and collaboration with various cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• You design and further develop Microsoft 365 services in the cloud to ensure optimal use and integration within the IT landscape.
• You ensure smooth IT operations for Microsoft 365 by making sure all relevant requirements — such as security, compliance, and performance — are met.
• As the central point of contact for your area, you advise business units and stakeholders on the optimal use and deployment of Microsoft 365 cloud services.
• In your interface role, you collaborate with other cloud services such as Entra ID, Exchange, Intune, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams to ensure seamless integration and ongoing development.
• You are responsible for the development and optimization of the Entra ID Connect service, including the integration of additional M365 services like Exchange, Intune, OneDrive, and Teams.
• You independently lead (sub-)projects and apply both traditional and agile methods to develop innovative solutions.
• You automate administrative tasks and processes, for example using PowerShell or other appropriate tools.
• You actively contribute to the implementation of security and compliance policies, particularly for M365 services and the Azure cloud.
• You analyze and resolve complex technical issues that arise in the M365 environment and drive continuous improvement of the systems.

Requirements

• Degree in IT or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.
• Several years of solid professional experience with Microsoft 365 and related Microsoft services such as Intune, OneDrive, SharePoint, Exchange, and Entra ID.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud, especially in the integration and management of Azure services.
• Practical experience with PowerShell for automation, scripting, and administration.
• Experience in administering and securing Microsoft 365 environments, including policies, compliance, and security measures.
• Ideally, experience in implementing hybrid-cloud solutions and migrating on-premises services to Microsoft 365.
• Strong communication skills and team orientation, combined with a solution-focused and analytical working style.
• Good written and spoken German and English.
