About the role
- Lead Engineer managing payment solutions for ADEO Group with a focus on high-quality in-house solutions. Collaborating in a hybrid team environment and defining technical visions.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the technical vision for projects in collaboration with architects and project managers
- Provide technical leadership to the development team (coaching, mentoring, code reviews)
- Design and validate technical solutions that meet functional needs and project constraints
- Ensure code and deliverable quality (adherence to standards, testing, security, performance)
- Implement and maintain best practices (CI/CD, continuous integration, test automation)
- Participate in the development of complex and sensitive features
- Monitor technology trends and propose continuous improvements
- Act as the main point of contact between developers, architects and project management
- Contribute to effort estimation and technical planning
- Coordinate and oversee RUN (operational support)
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong technical expertise allowing you to design, guide and evolve complex solutions
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript)
- Excellent understanding of modern software architectures, design patterns and SOLID principles
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Familiarity with DevOps environments (CI/CD, containerization, cloud)
- Natural leadership and a collaborative mindset
- Strong coaching skills, rigor and organizational ability
