About the role
- Join MDS Brasil as a Junior Business Risk Analyst, supporting new insurance processes and renewals. Collaborate with teams to provide optimal insurance solutions for clients in Curitiba.
Responsibilities
- Obtain insurance quotes by sending the necessary data and/or information to insurers to find the best insurance options that fully meet the policyholder's needs.
- Prepare a proposal letter for the policyholder by presenting all necessary information regarding the insurance, in order to present the best options that fully meet the policyholder's needs.
- Prepare and submit policy issuance requests to insurers to formalize acceptance of the risk within the timeframe requested by the policyholder.
- Analyze requests for new insurance quotes and/or renewals (individuals) by receiving quote requests to identify the risk profile.
- Analyze proposals received from insurers by reviewing policy values and conditions to compare available insurance options, identify essential coverages and determine the best price-to-value option for the policyholder.
- Send the policy and payment slip/invoice to the policyholder using systems and digital tools (e-mail) to ensure the policyholder is aware of all rights and obligations related to the contracted insurance.
- Ensure accurate registration of data and/or information for issued policies using systems and digital tools to enable organized and reliable information for consultation and other activities.
- Perform other related professional activities inherent to the role as required by the area, through training, professional qualification and guidance from the immediate supervisor, in order to ensure continuous professional development.
- Search the insurance market to obtain the best placement for lower-complexity client risks—considering criticality, size, revenue and political relationships—by negotiating to bring the best financial and technical solution to the client, and present a technical, commercial and consultative comparison to the client.
- Provide necessary support and assistance to other departments by supplying or making available data and/or information to ensure continuity of processes and task execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Administration, Insurance or related fields
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Property/Asset Risks, Fleet, Property, Liability, Infrastructure, Marine, Aviation and/or Transportation insurance
- Experience in the insurance area with risk placement, new policies and/or policy renewals
- Customer-focused, professional, collaborative, innovative, analytically capable, organized and skilled in planning
