About the role
- Technical Consultant providing remote support across Brazil for measurement systems in mining. Involves maintenance and troubleshooting of automated equipment and software.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote technical support to clients across Brazil via VPN, Radmin, TeamViewer, and VNC.
- Ensure the operational availability of measurement equipment within mining operations.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and laser volumetric measurement systems.
- Analyze hardware and software failures.
- Install, configure, and calibrate the company’s volumetric measurement system.
Requirements
- Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or Systems Analysis.
- Experience maintaining automated, networked equipment.
- Knowledge of MySQL databases, network configuration (TCP/IP), and reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Residency in Belo Horizonte or the vicinity of Confins Airport.
- Availability for occasional short-term travel (up to two weeks).
- Valid driver’s license (category B).
