About the role

Responsibilities
- Support the planning, development, and execution of efforts to migrate on-premises Windows Server-based applications to Microsoft Azure
- Develop technical and engineering plans to support migration to Azure cloud
- Assess existing infrastructure, identify migration blockers, and recommend modern cloud-native alternatives
- Collaborate with cloud architects and developers to re-platform, re-host, or refactor applications
- Implement and manage Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Files, Azure Active Directory, Azure Networking, and Azure Monitor
- Perform system design and integration activities, including identity management, storage, compute, networking, and security configurations
- Provide technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, migration runbooks, and operational procedures
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with enterprise IT architecture in Windows Server environments
- 3+ years of experience managing enterprise Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, MECM, WSUS, and Azure
- 1+ years of experience designing and implementing Azure-based solutions
- Experience developing comprehensive IT infrastructure automation using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python, or automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform
- Experience working in cross-functional and matrixed teams
- Ability to automate the installation and operation of Windows Server-based applications and solutions
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570.11 IAT Level II Certification such as CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA‑Security, GSEC, or SSCP Certification, within 30 days of hire date
