About the role
- Head of Product Development role focused on enhancing Securities Services products at Eurobank. Responsible for compliance, system optimization, and collaboration with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Ensure homogeneity, compliance, and efficiency within the Unit’s infrastructure, including systems setup, user roles, procedures, and resource allocation.
- Analyze and coordinate the Unit’s business architecture and infrastructure, proposing and implementing uniform, optimized solutions.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Products & Services, Securities Services Operations, Legal, Organosis) and liaise with regulators and market authorities on new or enhanced product initiatives.
- Lead system and process development efforts, focusing on automation, optimization, and the successful prioritization and implementation of projects.
- Monitor and evaluate product and service performance, including cost-to-revenue efficiency ratios.
- Drive standardization and structuring of Securities Services offerings, ensuring product documentation and processes remain current and aligned with market and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Banking & Finance, or related field; advanced education or professional certifications are a plus.
- Deep knowledge of Securities Services and Securities Operations policies and procedures.
- Technical expertise in Custodian Services, with strong ability to engage line managers and subject-matter experts on complex technical matters.
- Solid understanding of the bank’s structure, securities products, client segments, and business workflows.
- Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to plan, direct, and oversee teams and multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with flexibility in problem-solving and strict adherence to compliance standards.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- Technology-driven mindset, using digital platforms to optimize securities services processes.
