Responsibilities
- Work on a global project to deliver Commercial Tools across the countries where Banco Santander operates
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive, accessible web applications focused on high usability and performance
- Ensure code quality through practices such as automated testing, code reviews, and continuous integration
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers, promoting best practices and continuous development
- Actively participate in defining development standards, processes, and best practices
Requirements
- Knowledge of distributed microservices architectures, event-driven architecture, and RESTful APIs
- Experience developing microservices with Java Spring Boot and Apache Kafka
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript
- Experience with modern frameworks such as React and Angular
- Understanding of responsive design principles, accessibility, and web performance
- Familiarity with build tools, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of automated testing (Jest, Cypress, JUnit)
- Knowledge of databases (relational and non-relational)
- Familiarity with collaboration tools (Jira and Confluence)
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Nice-to-have:
- Previous experience developing software for large financial institutions
- Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish
