Responsibilities
- Contribute to defining and maintaining system design and architecture standards
- Work on both the Server-Side and Client-Side of products as a member of the Enterprise Architecture team
- Implement complex back-end systems and APIs as well as front-end code, focusing on readability, refactoring, clean code and programming best practices
- Perform technical, functional and non-functional analyses of highly complex solutions
- Promote ways to reduce technical debt and encourage code reuse across products
- Produce necessary application documentation
- Help build a high-performance, secure operational infrastructure
- Make technical decisions in alignment with the team, clients and stakeholders
- Install, configure and update environments and tools
- Identify, report and fix issues that could jeopardize deliveries
- Support, when needed, the design and implementation of the user experience, actively participating and collaborating with the Product Design team
- Apply Agile development best practices and collaborate with Technical Leadership
- Apply Secure Development best practices and collaborate with Technical Leadership
- Adopt scalable development approaches when possible, using reusable code libraries
- Work collaboratively with the team, coordinating activities to facilitate product deliveries within deadlines and with the highest quality
- Plan project resources together with the Delivery (development) teams
- Review, validate, test and appropriately document your own code and that of others
- Ensure code reviews of other developers, looking for bugs, optimization opportunities and ways to make everyone's work more efficient
- Constantly seek ways to make your work and the team's work faster, safer and easier
- Actively participate in the definition and refinement of development efforts
- Be responsible for your own organization, using soft skills to keep teams working harmoniously
- Support and actively participate in improving DevOps processes
- Mentor less experienced developers, contributing to the professional growth of the whole team.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python, preferably with FastAPI framework, and Vue.js or React and JavaScript
- Experience with REST APIs, including creating endpoints for CRUD operations (Create, Read, Update, Delete)
- Use of HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, PATCH)
- Data structuring in JSON or XML
- Experience with cloud security, preferably Azure and AWS
- Knowledge of ServiceNow
- Knowledge of ITIL
- Good knowledge of DevOps practices (especially Azure DevOps)
- Good knowledge of Git and containers
- Familiarity with the ServiceNow platform
- Technical English.
