About the role
- Finance Business Partner providing financial support and analysis within CCS. Collaborating with directorates for improving accuracy and transparency in financial reporting and forecasting.
Responsibilities
- Work with assigned Directorate colleagues and finance professionals to measure and assess business performance.
- Ensure the requirements of the financial processes are met through the assigned Directorates.
- Work across stakeholders of the financial planning and forecasting processes to ensure user needs are met and consistency and transparency embedded.
- Facilitate discussions around business performance and risks and opportunities.
- Utilise Workday, Adaptive Planning and other data tools in an efficient manner to assist the transfer of business information across CCS.
- Develop and implement reporting and forecasting processes and templates aligned to financial requirements.
- Support, advise and challenge on Business Cases, particularly on any financial aspects.
- Convey complex financial reports, processes and information in a simple manner.
- Ensure Business stakeholders are trained in required financial systems.
- Provide help to the Senior Finance Business Partners on key tasks which enable them to provide strategic financial advice to the Directorate.
Requirements
- Technical finance and accounting system skills
- Experience of understanding, handling and assessing financial processes
- Experience of working effectively and building relationships with stakeholders with varying levels of financial knowledge
- Experience of working with and presenting data and a keen eye for detail
- CA qualified or studying towards the equivalent or qualified by experience
