- DevOps Engineer managing development infrastructure and CI/CD processes at Rive. Focusing on multi-platform deployments and physical testing lab management.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve development infrastructure
- Maintain GitHub CI pipeline
- Optimize monorepo workflow
- Manage multi-platform application deployments
- Build out physical device testing lab
- Participate in CI/CD pipeline management
- Design, maintain, and optimize GitHub Actions workflows
- Ensure fast, reliable builds across monorepo structure
- Implement and refine testing strategies
- Monitor pipeline performance
- Optimize monorepo tooling and dependency management
- Manage deployment pipelines for web Rive Editor
- Maintain deployment infrastructure for Windows and macOS desktop Rive Editor
- Coordinate release processes across all platforms
- Design and build physical device testing lab
- Source, configure, and maintain test devices
- Establish procedures for device management and updates
- Monitor system health
- Collaborate with engineering teams
- Stay current with DevOps best practices
Requirements
- 5+ years of DevOps or infrastructure engineering experience
- Strong experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD platforms
- Proficiency with monorepo tools
- Experience deploying and managing web applications
- Hands-on experience with Windows and macOS application build and deployment processes
- Understanding of code signing certificates and app notarization
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration
- Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages
- Methodical and process driven with strong troubleshooting, problem-solving abilities
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Experience setting up and managing device testing labs (preferred)
- Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) solutions (preferred)
- Knowledge of test automation frameworks (preferred)
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform) (preferred)
- Understanding of software release management and versioning strategies (preferred)
- Background in embedded systems or hardware testing (preferred)
- Previous experience in a startup or fast-paced environment (preferred)
