Responsibilities
Design and documentation of series and special equipment scopes (codes) for integrated onboard information systems (IBIS) for low-floor vehicles
Clarify and develop solution proposals for customer requests regarding integrated onboard information systems
Independently develop detailed solutions for sometimes complex customer-specific requests, taking into account legal, economic and technical constraints
Review and identify new, existing or similar scopes to ensure efficient processing of customer-specific requests (KSW)
Create design documentation as well as wiring diagrams, wiring harnesses, bills of materials, functional diagrams (software/FUPs) and KSW notifications
Delegate and review design scopes with external service providers (representative role)
Support Sales, Production, Logistics, Purchasing, Pricing, After Sales and other development areas (across locations) with clarifications in order processing
Proactively identify and implement optimization potential in current processes and existing solutions to sustainably improve the cost-efficiency of our products and processes
Continuously monitor and help shape the IBIS market environment through supplier meetings, trade show visits, committee work and individual training
Independently represent the team across departments, locations and to suppliers
Participate in and lead product, vehicle and process projects
Prepare and disseminate information about IBIS to Sales and other non-specialist areas in the form of training and technical presentations
Requirements
You hold a university degree or a technician qualification in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification
Several years of professional experience in bus E/E (electrical/electronic) development is desirable
You have very good knowledge of MS standard software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) as well as SAP, Smaragd and LogiCAD
You have very good process knowledge of order processing and good knowledge of the product development and product change processes
Your German and English language skills, written and spoken, are very good
Your strengths include analytical and structured thinking, strong teamwork skills, a high sense of responsibility, confident appearance and assertiveness
You possess strong communication skills and a high degree of independence
Your knowledge of legal regulations in bus construction is good
