About the role

• Data Science Professional at Trendyol Pay designing end-to-end payment solutions. Collaborating across teams to enhance data-driven financial technology infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Work at the intersection of finance, data, and machine learning; developing models that power credit decisions, risk analysis, personalization, fraud detection, and other core Fintech features.
• Analyze large-scale structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Apply best practices for working with ML-Ops infrastructure, improve models and infrastructure to optimize model performance.
• Execute A/B experiments, reach conclusions statistically and build upon learnings continuously.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and risk teams to translate business challenges into data science problems.
• Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
• Synthesize methodology and data into actionable business strategy and communicate findings to engineering and management teams as driving business impact.
• While the role focuses on data science, we value a hands-on mindset across analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision making.

Requirements

• Experience in applied data science and a wide range of data science stack of algorithms and models. Knowledge about fintech domain is a big plus.
• Good knowledge of python or other programming language. Experience in one or more of the libraries such as scikit-learn, Pytorch and TensorFlow is a plus.
• Good knowledge of SQL and familiarity with best practices.
• Strong analytical skills with a data driven approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• The experience range for this position is suitable for specialist/senior specialist roles.
