About the role

Data Scientist implementing AI and machine learning solutions at Logcomex. Developing predictive models and collaborating with business teams for actionable insights.

Responsibilities

Implement and maintain AI (Artificial Intelligence) solutions to enrich data and improve the efficiency and quality of Logcomex's models;
Develop and implement predictive and analytical models using advanced machine learning techniques, data mining, and statistical analysis;
Generate insights and intelligence for our clients based on Artificial Intelligence;
Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and objectives and translate them into actionable analytical solutions;
Stay up to date with the latest trends and advances in artificial intelligence, implementing best practices and relevant technologies;
Ability to train, fine-tune, and deploy large language models (LLMs) for virtual assistant–specific use cases;
Transformers: proficiency in transformer architectures and their application in NLP;
Practical experience with frameworks and libraries such as Hugging Face Transformers and implementing pre-trained models.

Experience in:
Development of AI-based solutions;
Statistical techniques, data analysis, programming, and systems development;
Data Science and Machine Learning: proficiency in data science techniques, including machine learning, deep learning, statistics, predictive analytics, and modeling;
Testing and deploying data classification methods;
Experience with large language models (LLMs) such as GPT-3, GPT-4, LLaMA, BERT, RoBERTa, etc.
We are looking for people with knowledge in:
Specialization in Artificial Intelligence;
Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs);
Knowledge of fine-tuning techniques to adapt pre-trained models to proprietary datasets;
Data cleaning/processing/transformation;
Python programming;
PySpark;
Airflow;
SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL/Elasticsearch;
Unix (Linux), Bash;
GitHub;
AWS Cloud — EMR, S3, EC2;
