About the role

• Data Manager/Visualization Specialist managing Agile program performance for federal clients. Focusing on data visualization and decision-making support for Coast Guard leadership.

Responsibilities

• **Primary Responsibilities:**
• Administer and manage **JIRA dashboards** to track Agile team performance and program health.
• Create, maintain, and optimize **interactive dashboards** and data visualizations using **Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools**.
• Support **Agile metrics collection, analysis, and reporting** across multiple teams.
• Develop and deliver **executive-level reports and briefings**, translating data insights into strategic recommendations.
• Ensure transparency and alignment by maintaining accurate data across **JIRA, Confluence, and visualization platforms**.
• Collaborate with Agile teams, Product Owners, and leadership to define meaningful performance metrics.
• Assist with **KPI tracking, trend analysis**, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain documentation and ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility for stakeholders.

Requirements

• **Minimum Qualifications:**
• **Active Secret clearance** (required at time of application).
• **Bachelor’s degree** in IT, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
• **3+ years of hands-on JIRA administration or dashboard management experience.**
• Proficiency in **Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.**
• Experience supporting **Agile software or data-focused teams.**
• Strong skills in **data interpretation, reporting, and stakeholder communication.**
• **Preferred Qualifications:**
• Experience supporting **federal or mission-driven environments.**
• Familiarity with **Agile metrics, KPIs, and performance dashboards.**
• Ability to present complex data clearly to **executive and non-technical audiences.**
• Knowledge of **Confluence, MS Teams, and other collaboration tools.**
• **Eligibility:**
• Must be **legally authorized to work in the United States** without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
• **Active Secret clearance** is required for this role.
