About the role
- Data Engineer developing and maintaining data integration pipelines in our Enterprise Data Platform. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data pipelines to process and integrate data from multiple sources into the Enterprise Data Platform.
- Build and optimize SQL queries and data transformations to support Data Engineering use cases
- Perform data validation and troubleshooting of data pipelines to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Automate workflows to improve data processing efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of data pipelines and queries.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies to plan, estimate, and deliver work
- Assist in creating documentation for data workflows, transformations, and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related
- 2 or more years of experience in data engineering or related role
- Proficiency in SQL for data transformation and analysis
- Knowledge of Python or Py-Spark for data processing
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar tools
- Experience with ETL tools and frameworks like Informatica, Talend, Boomi or equivalent
- Understanding of data modeling concepts and database design principles
