Clinical mental health counseling internship at Twin Lakes Counseling providing therapy to diverse clientele. Requires evening and weekend availability with supervision for professional growth.
Responsibilities
Provide clinical mental health counseling to individuals, couples, children, adolescents, and families
Collaborate with a team of therapists to deliver high-quality psychological services
Engage in weekly supervision and case consultations to ensure professional development
Gain diverse clinical experience through varying caseloads
Use in-house resources for support and referral as needed
Requirements
Evening and weekend availability required
Willing to schedule at least 10 clients per week
Ability to see clients at least one day a week in-person and on-site from our beautiful Federal Way office.
No other internship placements, except with prior approval by the director
Comfort with or interest in working with children, couples, and families
Prior experience in crisis counseling, domestic violence advocacy, or other service areas a plus
Ability to offer bilingual therapy services is a plus
Completed Bachelors degree, preferably in a psychology-related field
Currently enrolled in a CACREP- or COAMFTE-accredited Masters program
