About the role
- Assistant Director coordinating hybrid internship programs for Wellesley College. Managing operations, budgets, and student support within the college's internship program.
Responsibilities
- Provide logistical coordination and support for many aspects of the internship program infrastructure
- Maintain and develop policies, resources, and procedures relevant to campus internships, projects, and grants
- Support the maintenance of program budgets, processing student stipends and reimbursements
- Serve as a liaison and point of contact with select campus departments to support program facilitation
- Manage student communications regarding application results
- Provide assistance to internship applicants and internship awardees
- Monitor student progress on and completion of internship participation requirements
- Coordinate and facilitate info sessions and other activities for student participants
Requirements
- 1-3 years relevant experience in education, internships, or program development with a focus on student engagement, youth development, and/or education
- Bachelor’s degree OR Master’s degree in Higher Education, College Student Personnel, Leadership, Organizational Development, International Education or Relations, or other relevant advanced degree
- Experience in developing and executing programs, events, and resources geared towards a student audience
- Beginner level experience working with budgets or tracking finances
- Previous experience working with students (any grade level) or college-aged individuals
- Experience in stakeholder or partnership management
