PLM Administrator providing Windchill support and system improvements in an innovative environment. Collaborating with international teams to ensure platform stability and optimize processes.
Responsibilities
Provide L2 and L3 support for Windchill users, ensuring fast, structured, and user-focused issue resolution.
Actively engage with business stakeholders to fully understand issues and document them clearly (incl. reproducible steps and root cause analysis)
Ensure system stability through monitoring, maintenance, and proactive optimization.
Drive system administration activities such as installations, upgrades, rehosting, and deployments
Support and execute data migrations and cloud transformations of Windchill environments.
Collaborate with international teams across regions and functions.
Design and implement workflows, ACLs, and OIRs, and act as a Business Analyst for legacy systems
Perform customizations (server-side and UI) were required.
Identify inefficiencies and actively contribute to process improvements.
Deploy patches, bug fixes, and full builds across QA, sanity, and production environments
Requirements
6+ years of hands-on experience in Windchill support, administration, and system operations.
Proven track record in end-to-end upgrades of clustered Windchill environments (incl. CPS updates)
Strong experience with installation, configuration, and operation of Windchill (on-prem & cloud/VM environments)
Deep understanding of: Windchill authentication & security, Visualization Services, JNDI adapter configuration, File server architecture
Solid experience in Backup & Disaster Recovery strategies.
Strong knowledge of MS SQL databases and Windchill data structures (performance tuning, query optimization).
Experience with tools like BMC Helix, JIRA, Bugzilla, ideally combined with DevOps/Git/Code beamer.
