Responsibilities
Executes on the development budget and – in conjunction with the solution architects – ensures supply of suitable and best-trained development capacity into the agile teams. Leads the team of developers disciplinarily.
Holds relations to existing and potential new external development service providers.
Liaises with ZF internal cross-functional stakeholders (purchasing, QA, …) to ensure compliance and knowledge exchange.
Provides professional and methodological guidance and leadership for the different roles and skillsets within the development workforce.
Has an excellent overview related to the resource and capability management in the development teams to ensure together with the solution architects that the right skills are at the right place at the right time.
Is responsible for maintenance and permanent update of insight into useful technologies and relating skill set requirements. Ensures permanent learning and people development within the development organisation.
Conducts technology portfolio presentations and pitches on management level both internally and externally.
Requirements
Computer Science degree or equivalent and experience in software development
At least 8 years in a tech role, and proven track record of people leadership experience for at least 5 years.
Strong ability to create clarity and influence stakeholders and peers by example
Excellent stakeholder managing abilities
Highly motivated to be a leader and to build high-performing and empowered teams and to achieve deliverables through and with the team
