About the role
- Salesforce & Back-end Integration Engineer developing applications connecting CRM services with robust APIs. Ensuring secure, high-performance data flow for Workday's Contract Lifecycle Management platform.
Responsibilities
- Design and build high-performance back-end services using Python to facilitate communication between Salesforce and Workday CLM services.
- Design, develop, and maintain custom solutions within Salesforce using Apex, triggers, and Visualforce.
- Write efficient and scalable code in both Apex and Python, with a deep understanding of Salesforce governor limits.
- Implement robust security measures across all APIs and data integrations.
- Implement comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging strategies to ensure the health and performance of all integrations and back-end services.
- Partner with Salesforce Administrators, business analysts, and other engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a back-end engineer using Python, JavaScript / Typescript and SQL databases.
- 2+ years of experience building secure, high performance API's using Rest/JSON.
- Familiar with Salesforce development, including Apex and experience with various Salesforce APIs (e.g., REST, SOAP, Bulk, Streaming).
- Proficiency of Apache Kafka and building event-driven systems.
- Proficiency with Redis for caching, session management, or pub/sub messaging.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Experience with data integrity and security across all integrations.
