Responsibilities
Support our Product and Economy team in modeling, simulating and documenting complex game elements and feature economies in Machinations
Create and maintain Machinations models for our core features, reward flows and economies
Analyze coin flows, bet sizes, reward frequencies and their impact on engagement, retention and monetization
Assist with simulations for new features, A/B tests, difficulty curves and balancing iterations
Document models, parameters, assumptions and simulation results
Support the Product team in interpreting model data
Build a structured model library to keep models maintainable and scalable
Requirements
Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (Game Design, Data Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or similar)
Strong affinity for numbers and analytical thinking
Prior experience with Machinations is mandatory: please link examples in your CV/application or briefly document them (screenshots, videos or model links)
Basic understanding of game economy/balancing concepts (reward systems, difficulty curves, currency flow)
Good communication skills in English (or German)
Independent, structured working style and willingness to learn new skills
Very good written and spoken German and English
