About the role
- Junior Editor for Digital Learning Solutions at Westermann Berufliche Bildung GmbH, responsible for producing and publishing digital teaching materials and managing internal platforms.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of producing and publishing digital teaching materials
- Maintain and update the company’s proprietary platforms
- Commission, manage and supervise appropriate external service providers (e.g., graphic designers, audio and video producers, agencies)
- Research suitable third-party materials, such as images and animations
- Responsible for maintaining relevant metadata in the in-house Content Management System (CMS)
- Report internally on production status and progress
Requirements
- Degree in Media Studies or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Initial experience in project or production management
- Strong attention to detail
- Passion for educational topics
- Affinity for digital learning solutions
- Ideally, first-hand experience producing digital learning content
- Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new and complex subject matter
- Good MS Office skills
- Initial experience with authoring systems and/or image and video editing
