Responsibilities
- Manage a team of individual contributor engineers including both FTE and Contractors
- Responsible for application availability and stability across the application suite
- Lead design, development, support, vulnerability management, risk and control management, deliver on enterprise and business initiatives
- Lead and deliver in an agile environment and lead strategic initiatives end-to-end
- Establish a clear vision and set strategic direction to enhance the efficiency, reliability and supportability of the applications while mitigating any potential impacts to the customer
- Exhibit strong technical skills and the ability to grasp new concepts and help lead the team’s design discussions of strategic roadmaps
- Deliver on key critical commitments and meet OKR established for the organization
- Interact directly with third party vendors and technology service providers
- Manage team members (US/ dotted line India), establish delivery cadences, and meet all target commitments
- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
- Innovate and Implement AI Driven Solutions
- Collaborate with stakeholders in Business, Risk, Architecture, Platform and Enterprise Management
Requirements
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience
- 5+ years of experience with Java web services, Spring Boot, Spring, Domain and Event Driven Design, Automation, DevOps, Databases (Oracle, Mongo), Kafka/ IBM MQ and SDLC tools
- 5+ years of talent and team development, finance forecasting, risk management and ability to present to senior leadership
- 4+ years of Cloud experience (OCP OR Kubernetes)
- 4+ years of Agile Methodology
- 2+ years of management or leadership experience
