Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (build, deploy, test automation, and releases)
- Manage and evolve AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Drive continuous improvement of observability (logs, metrics, and APM)
- Optimize cloud costs (FinOps) and resource efficiency
- Support application scaling and performance
- Manage permissions and access (IAM, security best practices)
- Support the development of security practices (e.g., SOC 2, pentests, hardening)
- Ensure system reliability (high availability, redundancy, disaster recovery)
- Collaborate with development teams to advance the DevOps culture
- Participate in agile rituals and support the development of SaaS platforms
Requirements
- Experience with Linux environments and CLI automation (Bash)
- Hands-on experience with containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes or ECS) in production
- Experience with AWS cloud (deployment, operations, and troubleshooting)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar)
- Solid understanding of web application architecture: load balancers, networking, caching, scalability
- Experience with version control using Git (branching workflows, PRs, etc.)
- Experience with at least one automation language (Python or similar)
- English proficiency sufficient for technical reading and interacting with support/documentation
- Experience with observability: APM (New Relic), logging (ELK/EFK), metrics (Prometheus, Grafana)
- Experience with data pipelines and at-scale data architecture: Airflow, Step Functions, Kafka/Spark, data lakes/data warehouses, Athena/Presto
- Experience with managed databases (AWS RDS)
- Experience with automation/configuration tools (Ansible, Nix)
- Experience with security practices (IAM, hardening, compliance such as SOC 2)
