About the role
- (Senior) Consultant in Reinsurance at Wavestone focusing on digital transformation and modernization projects. Supporting clients in the insurance sector with end-to-end solutions.
Responsibilities
- You design end-to-end solutions across Underwriting, Claims Management and technical Accounting, as well as Data Strategy, Data Management, Pricing and Finance.
- You actively support and advise our reinsurance clients in the digital transformation of their active and passive reinsurance businesses.
- You support all phases of system modernization or the implementation of a completely new reinsurance platform — from business analysis and system implementation to process engineering and the design of a target operating model.
- You leverage AI-driven insights and tools to boost process efficiency, enhance analytics, and support the modernization of reinsurance processes.
Requirements
- University degree (completed)
- Several years of professional experience in management consulting or in an insurance company, with a focus on insurance, reinsurance or finance
- Interest in AI technologies and their application to optimize reinsurance processes
- Business-fluent English
- Willingness to travel within the DACH region
