Responsibilities
Lead the global definition, governance, and stakeholder workshops — including policy design, product and tech design, risk alignment, and audit readiness — in close collaboration with Legal, Product, and Engineering teams.
Ensure corporate-wide adherence to global standards, regulatory obligations, and contractual requirements through continuous policy & architecture review, control testing, and audit readiness management.
Provide expert guidance on compliance best practices and partner with Information Security teams on strategic initiatives.
Design, implement, and manage IT internal controls (e.g., access control, change management, operational monitoring) ensuring compliance with key frameworks, including SOC 1, SOC 2, and ISO.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Information Security, IT Compliance, or IT Audit, preferably within a global corporation or multinational environment.
Strong communication, documentation and stakeholder management skills across global regions.
Hands-on experience in implementing and reviewing compliance with local and international security regulations.
Ability to develop security and compliance narratives, clearly articulating risk impact and mitigation strategies to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, secure software development (SDLC), and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 1, SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST).
Familiarity with privacy frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, ISO 27701) is preferred.
Bilingual: Professional proficiency in English & Korean for cross-border collaboration
