About the role

Responsibilities
- As Manager, Privacy & Security, you will be responsible for redesigning and further developing the Privacy Management and Data Compliance framework.
- Taking on tasks within the Privacy Assurance program to ensure a high level of data protection across the company.
- Actively managing the interface with supervisory authorities (BNetzA, BfDI, BSI, etc.) and handling related communications.
- Independently conducting data protection assessments of products, systems and innovative Vodafone initiatives, including related contractual structures.
- Independently analyzing and assessing any incidents, supporting the implementation of required notifications to authorities and affected individuals, and coordinating remedial measures within the business units.
Requirements
- A completed degree in Computer Science, Law, Economics, Public Administration or a comparable qualification with a focus on the areas mentioned above.
- At least 7 years of professional experience, with a focus on data protection.
- Additional certifications or qualifications in data protection or information security are desirable.
- Flexibility, resilience, and strong teamwork and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Interest in — and ideally in‑depth knowledge of — project management methodologies and process management.
- Ability to build and maintain networks.
- Business‑fluent English, both written and spoken (C1 CEFR).
