Responsibilities
- Responsibility for defining and advancing the software and system architecture of our Carrier Aggregation Platform (CAP)
- Architecture governance: ensuring standards, guidelines and best practices
- Design and review of complex, distributed systems
- Close collaboration with development teams, requirements management, and the CTO/CIO
- Mentoring our architects and developers
- Support for DevOps strategies and test management
- Evaluation of new technologies and creation of architecture roadmaps
- Assistance with make-or-buy decisions and integration strategies
Requirements
- Proven experience in establishing and evolving architecture governance
- Confident design and structuring of complex software architectures including target architectures and roadmaps
- Experience with TM Forum Open Digital Architecture, Open APIs and telco best practices
- Ideally knowledge of security, compliance and regulation (TKG, ISO 27001, KRITIS)
- Experience in developing technical standards and guidelines
- Strong communication and facilitation skills for diverse stakeholders
- High degree of independence, sense of responsibility and enthusiasm for collaboration
- Strong technical foundation in modern software stacks
- Routine in analyzing and evaluating existing architectures
- Excellent German and English language skills, spoken and written
