Responsibilities
Overseeing technical solutions & systems that align with Verizon’s strategic goals
Architectural oversight, design, developing and supporting complex and large-scale business initiatives
Defining and driving architecture, modernization and owning Solution Architecture from definition phase to go-live phase
Providing architectural oversight by aligning with resellers to define the requirements and design for large-scale software systems and services
Responsible for building mission critical solutions for Wholesale channels
Determining the structure, design, and scope of the Wholesale systems with a deep understanding of enterprise application architecture
Leading end-to-end solutions of complex projects
Ensuring privacy, compliance and security controls are maintained
Ensuring reseller SLAs are met by performance tuning of mission critical applications
Identifying and proposing technical solutions in high-pressure situations
Partnering with key cross-functional stakeholders including Wholesale, Revenue Assurance, Finance, Network, GTS, and external customers
Managing the technical aspect of implementation and being a mentor for the development team
Designing highly performant and scalable cloud-based and emerging technology solutions
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience
Eight or more years of relevant experience required
Experience in programming, Operational support, Database Technologies
Experience with Enterprise Architecture Framework and Microservices Architecture
Experience in building and designing end-to-end application using JAVA/J2EE Technologies
Experience in Database Technologies with large database (example 250 TB+)
Telecom experience especially with Ordering & Billing applications (even better)
