Responsibilities
Be responsible for all quality-related topics involving external suppliers
Be responsible for supplier quality evaluation & development
Lead escalated quality and improvement projects
Develop, train and maintain methods and templates for supply chain quality
Serve as the main contact for Purchasing and other involved teams
Develop supplier qualification and selection processes based on process capability and capacity assessments, risk assessment & analysis
Plan and perform supplier assessments and all audits in close alignment with the Purchasing department and project teams
Analyze, further develop and report quality-related data (KPIs)
Requirements
University degree in engineering, business administration or a related field
At least five years of relevant work experience in quality management and/or purchasing, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Proven experience in supply chain and quality management
Proven experience with design and production processes
Experience with problem-solving methods and statistical analysis
Good knowledge of relevant ISO standards and auditor certification
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Flexibility to travel
Fluent in English and German
