Cloud Financial Operations Lead driving multi-cloud financial governance in AWS and Azure, ensuring cost validation and optimizing cloud spending.
Responsibilities
Own and operate the FinOps governance model including spend validation and cost approval gates.
Drive AWS and Azure cost visibility, reporting, and forecasting (monthly, quarterly, annual).
Partner with Finance to align cloud budgets, forecasts, and actuals.
Implement and mature a customer chargeback model across multi-cloud environments.
Lead rightsizing initiatives for compute, storage, database, and networking resources.
Optimize Savings Plans, Reserved Instances, and Azure Reservations strategies.
Identify automation opportunities to reduce long-term operational costs.
Collaborate with Professional Services, Support, Engineering, and Sales to validate cost impact during onboarding and releases.
Lead vendor discussions and enterprise agreement optimizations with AWS and Microsoft.
Publish executive dashboards tracking cost trends, savings, and unit economics.
Requirements
6+ years of experience in Cloud Financial Management / FinOps.
Strong expertise in AWS Cost Explorer, CUR, Savings Plans, and RI management.
Experience with Azure Cost Management & Billing optimization.
Proven experience in financial modeling and forecasting.
Experience building dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, or QuickSight).
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills in SaaS or enterprise environments.

AWS Solutions Architect (Associate or above)
Microsoft Azure Administrator or Architect Certification
