Responsibilities
Managing Salo plant’s team of supplier quality engineers
Developing and executing supplier quality strategies aligned with company and customer requirements
Defining and maintaining supplier quality standards, procedures, and KPIs
Conducting supplier audits according to customer-specific requirements
Driving robust problem-solving processes to address supplier quality issues
Leading supplier selection, qualification, and onboarding activities
Engaging with critical suppliers to resolve systematic quality issues
Ensuring effective supplier involvement in APQP, PPAP, and change management
Ensuring components meet quality requirements through direct support and inspection
Leading escalation and recovery plans for underperforming suppliers
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in the field of Engineering, Quality or Supplier Quality
5-10 years of relevant working experience
Excellent knowledge in Quality Management Systems
Strong experience with supplier audits and assessments
Proficiency in quality problem-solving and data analysis
Strong problem-solving knowledge in manufacturing processes
Fluent spoken and written English is required, Finnish or German are seen as an asset
