About the role

Responsibilities
- Work as part of the Technology Development team
- Lead mechanical engineering activities in investment and development projects
- Plan and prepare factory and production line layouts and detail drawings
- Prepare budgets, schedules, reports, specifications, bids, and contracts
- Coordinate assigned projects from initial definition through installation
- Maintain and prepare project, maintenance, and training documentation
- Contribute to the development of engineering and project management tools
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including UPM Adhesive Materials production units
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial investment projects
- Competence in mechanical detail and layout engineering
- Knowledge of budgeting and cost control
- Familiarity with SAP and M‑Files (or similar document management systems)
- Experience in process piping and ducting
- Maintenance experience is considered an asset
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Proficiency in spoken and written English; additional language skills are an asset
