About the role
- Data Architect designing and implementing data solutions and governance procedures for Uni Systems. Optimizing data architecture and collaborating on business intelligence projects in a hybrid environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement ETL processes
- Design and develop reports and dashboards
- Provide guidance on database design and performance optimization
- Design and implement data governance procedures (including access management, data quality, etc.)
- Develop data architecture models, optimize data flows, and integrate solutions
- Design, implement, and maintain Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW) and complex Business Intelligence solutions (Data Lakes / Data Lakehouses)
- Conduct research to enhance existing solutions and provide recommendations on new approaches and technologies (Data Virtualization, Data Mining, Linked Data, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data)
- Gather and analyze business requirements related to reports and dashboards
- Produce and maintain technical documentation
- Participate in cross-team meetings and collaboration activities
- Perform data quality testing
Requirements
- Master's degree in IT with minimum 11 years of relevant experience (or Bachelor's degree and minimum of 15 years relevant experience).
- At least 10 years of specific experience in data warehousing.
- Very good knowledge of near real-time data warehousing and/or Change Data Capture (CDC) technologies.
- At least 10 years of specific experience in relational and non-relational database systems, data modelling tools, and SQL.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience with ETL tools, SAP Business Objects, and Qlik Sense.
- At least 3 years of experience with Power BI.
- At least 10 years of experience in data quality management.
- Knowledge of data modelling, graphical representation, abstraction, and design.
- Nice to have:
- Experience with MS Fabric.
- Experience with Python scripting.
- Experience with AI/ML-powered analytics, including automated insights, natural language queries, and predictive capabilities.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies, including cloud-based business intelligence solutions, Linked Data, and Artificial Intelligence.
- Certification related to business intelligence tools and/or specific expertise mentioned above or any Project management related certificate will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in English at least at level C1. French will be considered an asset.
