About the role
- Data Scientist in Tubi's Builder’s Program developing data-driven products and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Tackling analytical challenges and driving data-informed decision-making to impact millions of users.
Responsibilities
- Solve a wide array of challenging problems using different analytical and statistical approaches
- Apply quantitative analysis, experimentation, data mining, and the presentation of data to develop strategies for our products
- Create and manage dashboards and visualizations, deliver actionable insights to stakeholders, and enable data-informed decision-making
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to inform, influence, and support investment decisions
- Ensure statistical rigor, metric alignment, and transparency
- Define, understand, and test opportunities and levers to improve the product, and drive roadmaps through your insights and recommendations
Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL with hands-on experience managing and analyzing large-scale, event-level data
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract insights from large datasets using statistical methods
- Strong communication skills with comfort conveying complex findings to non-technical stakeholders
- A strong drive to take on new challenges, experiment with new ideas, and continuously learn, whether through academic projects, internships, or self-driven initiatives
- GPA Requirement: Minimum 3.0 GPA
