About the role
- Software Engineer replatforming mission-critical financial systems using modern tools and methodologies. Collaborating within an agile team to enhance field agents' and home-office teams' experience.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with development staff and business product owners in an Agile environment.
- Code, test, identify, implement, and document modern cloud-native solutions.
- Use Kiro to generate scaffolding, tests, documentation, and evaluate AI-generated code.
- Perform design and analysis for complex deliverables.
- Lead system-level architectural discussions.
- Utilize modern cloud and API-driven frameworks.
- Mentor Intermediate engineers and guide design reviews.
- Participate in pairing, collaborative design, and architecture sessions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- Three years of Core Java or .NET experience.
- Strong understanding of OOP, OOD, microservices, REST APIs.
- Proficiency with RDBMS and NoSQL.
- Experience with AWS or Azure.
- Experience with CI/CD tools.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
