About the role

Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership & Partnership: Work side-by-side with the CTO to translate product roadmaps into technical plans. You’ll be the one making sure the "how" matches the "what” in an agile environment.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure the team’s code is maintainable, scalable, and secure. It’s about more than just delivering features; it’s about ensuring our technical foundation remains solid as we grow.
- Team Mentorship & Growth: Lead and coach the development team. Foster a culture of high-quality coding standards, effective peer reviews, and continuous learning.
- Hands-on Development: Lead by example. You’ll spend a significant portion of your time coding, tackling complex features, and solving technical bottlenecks.
- Process Optimization: Streamline R&D workflows (CI/CD, dev-ops, testing) to help the team move faster without breaking things.
Requirements
- Leadership Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a similar role as Team Lead- Must.
- Engineering Depth: At least 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong background in building complex, distributed systems- Must.
- Cloud & Data: Solid experience with AWS, and a strong understanding of relational databases (MySQL, Postgres, etc.).
- Pragmatic Architect: Ability to understand architectural trade-offs- knowing when to build for scale and when to move fast.
- Collaborative Spirit: A "get-things-done" approach with excellent communication skills, capable of working closely with a hands-on CTO and various stakeholders.
- Education: B.Sc. in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
