About the role
- Senior Asset Owner & Technical Product Owner designing analytical solutions across various teams in the insurance industry. Driving product ownership and change for business analytics initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day Agile execution for multiple advanced analytics teams; leverage proficiency in Agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban)
- Serve as change agent for DSAIA integration and embeddedness into the GS value stream model
- Build strong partnerships with business customers and technology partners
- Partner with APMs and business leaders to refine features and roadmap priorities
- Translate vision and strategic roadmap into incremental plans, sprint goals and prioritized execution work
- Assist in development of team and product vision, strategic planning, success criteria, CBA and value propositions for Business Intelligence & Performance Analytics initiatives and assets
- Execute well-designed communication plans tailored to audiences ranging from technical peers to business stakeholders of various levels
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience in supporting analytic product ownership or technical development in insurance or related field
- Proficient knowledge of Agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, XP)
- Familiarity with insurance preference, with stronger preference for Commercial Insurance and direct Global Specialty knowledge
- Proficiency in turning a new business problem into an executable technical or analytical solution
- Comfortable with working on novel, ambiguous business problems with no clear-cut solutions
- Proficiency in impactful storytelling, communication, and relationship-building across a broad range of technical and non-technical audiences
- Proficiency in leveraging Microsoft tools to develop compelling visuals articulating complex analytical topics
- Proficiency in translating complex technical topics into business solutions and strategies
- Experience with leading project execution and driving change to core business processes through the innovative use of quantitative techniques
- Commitment to proactively expand technical knowledge in emerging areas such as generative AI, AI agents, machine learning, cloud-based data platforms, and modern data engineering practices
