Responsibilities
Evaluate the performance of existing consumer finance programs and identify opportunities for improvement.
Develop and execute strategies to enhance the effectiveness and competitiveness of the retail value proposition, ensuring they align with our guests’ needs and market trends.
Conduct a regular cadence of meetings with the Company’s Finance providers.
Monitor competitor offerings and new innovative vendor products in the marketplace.
Collaborate with others to evolve sales processes, optimize advertising, and forecast outcomes of pricing and promotions.
Recommend improvements to sales tools, customer handouts, in-store signage, advertising, and other operational components that could improve the Company’s performance.
Provide training and support to the sales teams on consumer financing programs, ensuring they are equipped to effectively communicate the financing options to our guests.
Act as project manager on consumer financing and pricing initiatives to ensure their effective and efficient implementation.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and internal policies governing consumer lending activities.
Implement processes and controls to mitigate compliance risk.
Demonstrate the Company’s values in all aspects of their work performance.
Requirements
Post-secondary education in Business/Commerce considered an asset.
A combination of education and experience will be considered.
4+ years of experience as an accounting or finance professional.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in consumer lending.
Experience utilizing AI methodologies, conducting pricing analysis, and developing pricing strategies.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
