Responsibilities
- Oversee Terumo Europe’s digital landscape by identifying and addressing security risks
- Maintain system security by implementing and enforcing appropriate security controls across the region
- Monitor security alerts and coordinate appropriate incident responses
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure implementation and follow-through on security actions and improvements
- Support projects and provide security guidance for the design of new systems
- Contribute to securing Operational Technology (OT) environments, supporting teams that manage plant-level systems
- Promote security awareness by supporting training initiatives and educating colleagues on information security best practices
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to respond to urgent security incidents
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation by proposing solutions, resolving complex problems and enhancing protection strategies across Terumo Europe
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Proficient in English (written and spoken); additional languages are advantageous
- Experience with LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, server environments and multi-provider network architectures
- Familiarity with firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection/antivirus, authentication systems, log management and content filtering
- Strong understanding of hosting environments, cloud platforms, storage systems and access management
- Advanced knowledge of security standards, best practices and cloud security technologies
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Tenable Nessus)
- Ability to install, configure and operate security tools and software
- Experience performing post-incident forensics and investigations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate clearly at all organizational levels in a global environment
