About the role
- Product Engineer handling defect fixes and improvements with AI tools for banking solutions. Collaborating with teams to ensure product stability and quality in engineering tasks.
Responsibilities
- Investigate and troubleshoot Defects and Improvement Areas across products
- Identify RCA, Design, develop, and test fixes
- Address security vulnerabilities and dependency updates
- Collaborate with QA Lead to ensure regression coverage and quality validation
- Create / Update documentation, release notes where applicable.
- Use AI Tools for day-to-day activities like development, integration and testing across releases and maintain the models
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering
- 2 to 8 years of experience in software development
- Good programming skills in Java with Spring and Spring Boot, Angular / React JS, CSS, HTML, C/C++ .
- Knowledge of JBC will be an added advantage
- Experience using any RDBMS
- Experience with debugging systems and troubleshooting issues
- Understanding version control systems (Git, SVN, etc.)
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and release processes
- Experience in Temenos Cloud is an added advantage
