About the role

• Staff Engineer at Tejas Networks focusing on developing network management solutions for telecom technologies. Responsible for end-to-end feature ownership and integration with OSS products while ensuring scalability.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end ownership of multiple features & will be involved in the entire life cycle of the features, starting from conceptualization, requirements, design, development, testing & verification by PV team, to see it deployed in the real customer networks.
• Work closely with multiple functions like PLM, Node Design, System Engineering, CTO office to understand new features, its manageability & usage in telecom service provider networks.
• Focuses on a particular technology like MPLS-TP or DWDM to understand its nuances and design the features keeping in view of multiple factors like – manageability, unified management across layered networks, extensibility, scalability, backward compatibility etc.
• Help in integration of features into Service provider’s OSS products & SDN Orchestrators like HP TEMIP, Granite, Oracle Metasolv, Cisco NSO etc.

Requirements

• 10 to 14 years’ experience from Telecommunication or Networking background.
• B.Tech/BE (CSE/ECE/EEE/IS) or any other equivalent degree.
• Proficiency in Core Java
• Knowledge of Multi-threaded programming & related issues.
• Exposure to Linux.
• Familiarity with any relational database like MySQL, Oracle or Postgres
• Experience with UI technologies Java Script, JSP, Ajax, Servlet, Tomcat
• Experience with any JPA implementation like Hibernate etc.
